Everything, I spend a huge amount of time on refereeing between training meetings and games in a week.

Something to do at lunchtimes at school (Paul Watson was running a course then).

ADVICE FOR A REFEREE JUST BEGINNING THEIR CAREER–

Never think you are on your own and that you are the first person to make a mistake.  Pick up the phone and talk to one of your colleagues, no matter how silly a question seems the chances are the person you have phoned has been there before.  The only silly questions are the ones not asked.
